Legal
Terms of Use
These terms govern use of CV UID by candidates, employers and visitors. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to these terms.
Candidate responsibilities
You must provide information that you reasonably believe is accurate, lawful and yours to share. You control whether a profile is public, PIN locked or private. Keep account credentials and profile PINs secure and review employer access carefully.
Employer responsibilities
Employer accounts must identify a genuine organisation and authorised representative. Candidate information may be used only for legitimate recruitment, hiring or professional-opportunity evaluation. Employers must respect access revocation and must not resell, publish, scrape, enrich or use candidate data for unsolicited marketing.
Prohibited use
You may not impersonate another person, upload unlawful or misleading content, evade access controls, harvest profiles, automate abusive requests, probe the service for vulnerabilities, interfere with availability, or use CV UID to discriminate unlawfully, harass or defraud.
Service availability
CV UID provides profile-hosting and access-control tools. We do not verify every claim in a profile, guarantee employment outcomes, endorse candidates or employers, or promise uninterrupted availability. Users must perform their own appropriate checks.
Moderation and termination
We may review reports, restrict content, suspend accounts or preserve relevant records where reasonably necessary to protect users, operate the service or comply with law. Users may delete their accounts from the account page.
Intellectual property
You retain rights in the CV information you provide and grant CV UID the limited permission necessary to store, format and display it according to your settings. CV UID’s brand, software and original interface elements remain protected.
Liability and governing law
To the extent permitted by law, CV UID is not liable for independent decisions or conduct of candidates, employers or other visitors. These terms are governed by the laws of India. Mandatory consumer and data-protection rights are not excluded.
